Kicking like crazy!

Hello all,
My last Dr appointment showed good signs to everything. The baby's heartbeat was 152 per minute and soon it will slow down when s/he gets a little bigger. Almost half way there!!! I can safely say that the pregnancy is going smoothly right now! The baby kicks me often, it is such a wonderful feeling. It seems that s/he mainly kicks from 7am until about 9am on and off and then from 6 pm until 9pm at night. Sometimes once every now and then during the day, but not to often. I am sure it will pick up in the next weeks.

My next ultrasound is on the 15th of February and we will try to find out if my gut is right and the tech will say it is a boy. If not we will still love her!

I will let you know as soon as I get back!
Take Care and God bless!
Love,
Susan

Update

Hi all,
The Dr confirmed on Thursday that everything seemed perfect, the baby is ahead 4 days. My restrictions are no heavy lifting and pelvic rest.

I am feeling great, well happy that everything is great! I have been having some weird episodes were I can not function. The first one was about a week ago, Thursday the 3rd. I was using the bathroom, got up and felt really strange, weak, rapid heart rate, sweaty, nauseous, and unable to support myself standing. I made Hailey and I breakfast, thought maybe I was just hungry. After I ate I was still feeling the same just a bit worse, so I went to go lay on my bed, and I had to crawl up the stairs due to no strength. I noticed I was having a strong contraction and laid on my left side for a bit and talked with my friend on the phone. The feeling went away after about 20 minutes or so and I was fine the rest of the day.

Well, Sunday I had to go get some breakfast before church. I was about 10 minutes into shopping when I started to feel the same symptoms, so I checked out, and tried my hardest to make it to the van, with no luck. I had dropped to my knees and just put my head down and rested for 5 to 10 minutes outside in the parking lot. I then got back up made it inside and went to the bathroom, noticed I was slightly bleeding again, washed my hands and face, then made it home. The feeling stayed with me for about 3 or 4 hours, not as intense but the weird labored breathing and upset stomach.

Last night the feeling came back but not as intense, maybe because I was laying down instead of being up and about. I am not sure why I am having these issues, they are strange. If it happens again I will have to put a call into the Dr.s to see if he has heard of such a thing.

Yesterday I also wanted to get my hair wet to make it look nice for church, as a shower would have taken to long. After I bent over the tub I have had this pain in my back that shoots and takes away my breath. I think it is muscle spasms.

I hope that this all goes away, but even this morning I am having a weird feeling even after eating and resting. I can't really explain it besides feeling like my sugar level is low and it is making me have a weird stomach ache and it is hard to breathe.

Well besides that, I am so excited that the baby is ok and I am sure this is my last baby! I can't go through any of this, pray that it is a boy, I will not be doing this again!

Lots of love,
God Bless!
Susan

Unofficial Ultrasound Results

Good News!
I am happy to report that the ultrasound Dr. said that everything looks great. What they thought was a fibroid last week, must have been a contraction. So, no fibroid is bugging the baby. Baby does look very smushed though! The placenta has already moved up, so no more previa is there. He could not see a hematoma any longer from the abruption!
The only concern I still have is that in a week I have lost almost a cm of cervix, if the measurement was correct. We will wait and see what the Dr says, I am sure he will recheck everything in a week or two to make sure it is all par!
Thank you for your prayers, it is so powerful! Everything seemed so glum last week, and this week, so positive. I am excited. Jerry wants to know if I can get back to work, we will have to wait to see what the Dr. says, since I still have a slight amount of bleeding every other day. Hopefully at the next u/s we can see if it is a boy or girl, it was still to early for her to tell.
Baby measured in at 4 days ahead of schedule, so s/he is getting the nutrients it needs! Woohoo, so if we go by today's measurements that puts us at 6-26 to have baby! I am so happy! WooHoo! God is so wonderful to bless us with such fabulous news.
Have a wonderful day!
Love,
Susan

Complications!

Well I started bleeding, slight, bright red on the 3rd at 6pm. I had taken down our Christmas tree and moved the little loveseat and an old radio out of the room were the baby will be. About an hour later I started bleeding, I think I caused the abruption, I should know that being my 7th pregnancy the uterus will not be as strong.
I have a SCH (subchronic hematoma) due to the abruption. A SCH is a bruise, basically, left from the placenta after tearing away from the uterine wall. I had this with Hailey except it was by the baby and was much bigger, needing bedrest for 11 weeks until it absovled into the body.
They also wanted to check the cervix, having a leep in June 04 they are worried my cervix might be incompentent. Well it measured in at 4.24 cm and 4.5 to 5 cm in normal, so we are still in no need of a cerclage, unless it gets down to 2.5 or less they will reconsider, good news!
The most concerning thing at this moment is between Hailey's birth and now I have developed a uterine fibroid tumor(it is noncancerous). Uterine fibroids are common, but they are known to get larger during pregnancy and can cause miscarriages. It also can cause problems for the baby, malnutrition, growth retardation and the most severe the baby can be deformed due to being cramped against the tumor and not being able to move about freely. Oh and if it blocks the cervix I will need a c-section, something that I do not want, but if I have to I will do it in strides! I have another U/S scheduled Wednesday the 11th, at 12:30 to evaluate where the placenta has attached. Pray that the baby is safely away from it by then, as of the last U/S, the baby was laying on it!
I also have a partial placenta previa, but they feel confident it will move upward as the uterus expands.
I say this prayer many times daily and during the night, God I know it is your will to be done, I pray that you will hold me through this very trying time and just be with me as everything unfolds, In Jesus name, Amen!
Pray for us please! As I am on modified bedrest, aka shower, make meals (in under 20 min), go to the bathroom, and sit, sit, lay, lay keep as much pressure off of the uterus as possible. No lifting of the children or anything of much weight, a gallon of milk at most. The Dr.'s exact words were the 9, 7 and 6 year old can pretty much handle themselves for a while. Don't pick up even the two year old! Feet up and push fluids. Stay down as much as you can! No strenuous house cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, showers, dishes, etc... Let the baby have all of my energy and nutrients due to the fibroid. Prayers, prayers, prayers!
Love,
Susan
PS I believe that it is a BOY!!!
