A special Christmas gift!

Well I thought Christmas had come and gone very nicely! Jerry was home Christmas Eve and helped prepare for Christmas morning. We went out for dinner and watched a movie too. Then Christmas morning, we broke out the camcorder and had a wonderful Christmas morning. Then up at 11am to start the rest of Christmas lunch. Well around 6pm I was resting watching TV and my little one inside said Merry Christmas by giving me a little kick, just below the belly button, how tender and sweet that was! What a perfect present!

I am feeling much better, as long as I take my half of a pill in the morning and after dinner, I seem to be ok. I am dealing with the pains of constipation daily, argh! Constant pressure of a full colon and intestine. It is well worth it however, this baby has opened my eyes to God and my many blessing he has given me.

Oh and my best friend has found out last week, she was pregnant, 6 weeks already on Saturday! How wonderful!

I hope everyone's Christmas was a precious as mine!

Update, 3 months already

Whew, it has been rough. My hyperemesis seems to have ended. This past weekend I have felt better and better, and I have not taken any meds today w/o any stomach aches. Hopefully it is behind me.

On November 15 I had an appointment with Dr Maener, a high risk OB. He went over every possible reason why I could have hyperemesis. Everything so far looks good, he had a blood draw ordered and an U/S ordered. The blood work can back normal and the u/s showed us only one beautiful little baby, heart beating away!!!

I had my 10 week regular ob check on December 2nd. My uterus is tilted and we could not hear the baby's heartbeat. We used an old u/s machine to see the heart beating. Heart looked great.

Our next appointment is in 2 weeks I will be 14 weeks along. After I hear the heart beat I will be relieved that everything is still going ok.

I will check in after the appointment to let you know the heart rate!
